Oceans.

What a shame —

That in your whole life, no one has ever told you that your eyes are not blue.

They’re a bottomless ocean – floating miles beyond the shore, no ship’s anchor could ever hope to grasp hold of….

An icy, sapphire abyss discreetly shielding every dark secret hiding beneath,

An infinitely cloudless sky – silently observing,

Fathomless beryl marbles purposely fixated;

piercing & paralyzing

anyone who catches its glare…

Your eyes are all these things, but they’re the furthest thing from ‘blue‘.

Shame on them for forcing you to believe you’re something so ordinary.
